Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II is the 51st Ooni of Ife and Co-Chairman of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria. He is a highly influential traditional ruler and business leader, serving as Chairman of several companies, including the Gran Imperio Group, a diversified conglomerate with interests spanning real estate, hospitality, and commodities.
With over 25 years of extensive experience in business development, Ooni Ogunwusi has successfully built and led enterprises across various sectors, including real estate, mining, construction, and agriculture. He is renowned for his expertise in developing large-scale corporations from the ground up.
Ooni Ogunwusi holds two honorary doctorate degrees: a PhD in Public Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, and a PhD in Business Administration from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife. He also serves as the current Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He is a certified associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
He is a member of the Global Real Estate Institute and a certified member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) Nigeria. Known for his visionary leadership and deep commitment to youth empowerment, he has created numerous platforms to support young people in achieving excellence across various fields.
As Chairman of the House of Oduduwa Foundation, Ooni Ogunwusi actively promotes Yoruba culture and heritage, while also championing charitable initiatives and cultural diplomacy around the world.
