Dr. Olu Ogunfowora is a seasoned strategy and impact investment practitioner with over 25 years of international experience across top-tier organizations, including Accenture, EY, FBN Holdings, MTN, and Schlumberger. He has successfully led major strategy, transformation, and investment projects across agribusiness, education, energy, financial services, and healthcare sectors in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
Olu specializes in impact investing, inclusive growth models, and innovation strategy, advising governments, development finance institutions (DFIs), corporations, and entrepreneurs. His work has supported enterprise scaling, financial inclusion, and sustainable development initiatives across emerging markets.
He is the founder of a boutique advisory firm focused on mobilizing capital and building strategic capacity for purpose-driven ventures. Known for aligning commercial success with social impact, Olu is widely regarded as a trusted advisor within the impact investment ecosystem.
Academically, Olu completed executive studies at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School, UK. He holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees from the University of Manchester, with a research focus on impact investing, innovation management, and entrepreneurship. He graduated with First Class Honors in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, where he was awarded the Faculty of Technology Prize for Best Graduating Student (1993/94).
